Russell sadly lost his 8 month battle against cancer. On 9th August he passed peacefully in his
sleep in the early hours of the morning, at home with his loving sister Sandra. He tried fighting
the illness and lord knows he tried.
Russel will be sadly missed and forever loved. There will never be a day go by that he isn't in our
toughts and our hearts.
We will miss you so much.
Russel's love for life was his lovely familey and friends. he loved to have a laugh at the Fountain
Pub and loved to be with the lads also go away overseas with them all. He had lots of friends and
familey vist him through his illness. Everyone stuck by him.
Throughout the illness he was nursed by his sister Sandra, he never complained about his pain or
treatment recieved. When in pain he never let on. He wanted to live life to the full, NO MATTER
WHAT. He was a very brave man. I think the LORD above wanted an angel. I would describe Russell as
an angel as that is exactly what he was.
Russell loved all his familey He enjoyed having a laugh and joking with people. He was a very funny
character, but loving with it.
He enjoyed lots of music, mostly 50's, 60's, 70's . He never hurt anyone, he also loved helping
people, no questions asked.
He made friends very easily and has lots of them.
Before he passed on, he wanted everyone that WAS in his life to know that he loved them.

Sandra phoned me to let me know you had passed, i was in shock and Paul spoke to her, i know the time had to come to say good bye but not so soon, but it was good to hear you went smiling and not in pain. We are going to miss you so much. The Lord above must of needed you, too take you from us so soon. days may come and go but memories will always stay, we will never for get you, their was only one Russ and he was very brave. It is so sad to hear of this sadness, you will be missed by many, your memory will live on. The years may go by and we may get older but we will still remember the laugh you gave to us all and how you made everyone happy, god bless you russ R.I.P.

I knew this day was going to happen but still you are never prepared for when it does. It was a shock to hear you had passed away. I will always remember the good times and the laugh we had. You will be sadly missed but never forgotten. R.I.P. Mate.
